Bálint Z. Téglásy

Bálint is the CEO of D-UV, where he focuses on the secure deployment of unmanned vehicles. He holds a Ph.D. from NTNU Trondheim and previously worked in the civilian nuclear sector and as a consultant for critical infrastructure. Coming from industries with heavy security and safety requirements, his main priority at D-UV is making sure their autonomous technology meets the strict compliance standards needed to protect physical assets. He directly oversees both the strategic direction of the company and its research roadmap.

Andrew Ray

Andrew Ray is a Tech Advisor for D-UV and the Operations Director at Defense Tech for Ukraine (DTU), a nonprofit where over 200 engineers and soldiers collaborate to rapidly solve technical challenges faced by the Ukrainian military.

Andrew focuses on rapid hardware iteration rather than writing theoretical requirements. He moves defense prototypes directly to frontline units to see how they actually hold up in active combat. When equipment fails or encounters new jamming tactics, he figures out why and works with engineers to physically modify the gear.

At D-UV, he takes our acoustic IFF and counter-drone systems and tests them against the realities of heavily jammed environments. Because of his close work with Ukrainians, he tells us exactly what to tweak, rebuild, or scrap before our hardware is scaled up.
